Da Lat isn’t the most beautiful city in Vietnam, but it does have a certain charm about it. There are lots of coffee shops, a bustling night market and bakeries that stay open well into the night.
But the town itself isn’t why tourists come here. It’s the Lang Biang highlands that surround Da Lat that are the star attraction. This is where most adventure tours, canyoning, trekking and white water rafting, take place.
Things to do in Da Lat
– Visit the night market
– Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese coffee in one of the little cafes (we recommend One More Cafe)
– Go to the Crazy House (40,000 dong)
– Book a canyoning, white water rafting trip or hiking trip from one of the many tourist shops. We can recommend Da Lat Passion tours – professional, fun and good value.
So, if you’re on your way up to Nha Trang or travelling down to Mu Nie or Ho Chi Min City (5 hours), this could be a nice little stop-off.
